Society is not singular but a fluid network of identities.

What if you could decide how you are portrayed instead of being confined by assigned gender roles and other social constructs? I want to ask you to come sit with me however you feel comfortable. I want us to pay closer attention to our bodies, our identities, regardless of who we are. By slowing down and prioritizing intimacy, rest and care we can start to challenge patriarchal norms.

Using the menstrual cycle as a foundation of my art practice I, together with others, create a space to explore an alternative way of working and living. Expressed through installation art, I experiment with new contexts and possibilities to see what this cycle and caring social system could look like. I want to question the medium by alternating traditional positions and perspectives within analogue photography. While staying close to this slower, intimate process, I blur the lines between masculinity and femininity.
